“I’m really happy to be a part of a great team. Before I had my placement I wasn’t fully aware of the amount of support I was going to receive. It’s been really positive. I always know there is help on hand, this is so important for a foster carer.”

Maria, FFI foster carer.

“The FFI out of hours support team helped us through some tough nights over the summer. Sometimes the reassurance that you’ve done all you can is enough. We’ve never had any delay in getting a call back or having the phone answered.”

Michael, FFI foster carer.

“I enjoy meeting the other carers and sharing experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.”

James, FFI foster carer.

“The FFI days out allow the children to realise they are not the only ones in care and for adults it’s great to meet other carers.”

FFI foster carer.
