Fostering First Ireland’s Short Term Placements are placements made for any purpose, such as assessment, bridging or remand, which is planned but not intended to provide a Long Term placement for the child or young person.

Team Parenting™ sessions for Short Term Fostering Placements

Short term placements will also include a therapeutic led specialist Team Parenting™ sessions, taking place to share ideas and solutions around challenging behaviours the child or young person may display. These sessions will lead to a placement assessment and report.
