Separated Children Seeking Asylum

FFI has developed, in partnership with the HSE, a specialist fostering service for Separated Children Seeking Asylum (SCSA). These children often arrive in Ireland, from places such as Africa and the Middle East, having fled conflict, oppression, danger and abuse. They are in need of foster carers who are equipped and supported to meet their emotional needs as well as their cultural and religious needs.

FFI has recruited foster carers who are dedicated to offering care to such children.

These placements will include:

  • A placement agreement
  • An assessment of their needs, if requested by the HSE
  • Support from a Link Social Worker
  • Support from our Cultural Consultant
  • Additional therapeutic, education, child care and respite support are available at an additional cost

Please call us on 1850 211593 or enquire online to request more information about Separated Children Seeking Asylum Placements.
