Enhanced Placements
The following in the new text for the Enhanced Placements section:
FFI specialise in providing foster placements for children and young people with high and complex needs. We have learnt that sometimes the smallest specialist intervention from an educationalist, a therapist, a child care worker or a social worker can make the biggest difference to the stability of a placement.
In turn this stability creates an environment where positive change can be achieved, one where our team can support, plan and guide both the carers and the child or young person towards success.
FFI’s Enhanced Placement option provides a flexible multi-disiplinary approach to help children and young peoplerespond positively to theirfostering placement.
These fostering placements are suitable for children and young people with physical and/or verbal aggression who have experienced previous placement breakdowns, been expelled from school or require a specifically tailored education programme. They are also suitable for particularly vulnerable children who require intensive monitoring, supervision or support.
We can provide a specially designed package of support that can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of a child or young person.
