FFI’s 'Visions and Values' places the child’s needs firmly at the centre of what we do. FFI's key values can be summarised in our mission, our vision and our goal at FFI.

FFI will remain the leading non-statutory fostering agency in Ireland, continuing to break new ground in developing and offering a range of creative services for children and young people in the care of the HSE, working in partnership with statutory bodies and foster carers, to meet their specific needs and deliver positive outcomes. FFI will maintain a positive public image, influence policy and practice and continue to grow business opportunities and remain financially secure.
To meet this Goal we will:
- Provide effective support to carers and their families
- Continuously recruit and retain excellent employees and carers
- Encourage and provide ongoing Learning and Development opportunities for employees, carers, children and young people
- Place participation and consultation with children, carers and employees at the heart of our work
- Continue to be a major supplier of high quality Children's Services

How much allowance will I receive per week and how is this decided?
The basic allowance is €346 per week per child fostered.
